Industrial cooling and heating, delivered as a service.

We own the plant. You own the outcome.

We invest in, build and operate your refrigeration plant. You pay an agreed tariff per unit of cooling or heating delivered, with temperature and system efficiency contractually guaranteed.

01 / The problem

Why as a service?

Cooling and heating keep your production running. Owning the plant that delivers them is getting harder every year, and the risk lands hardest when capital is scarce and uptime is non-negotiable.

01

Assets age

Efficiency falls as the plant wears, and so does the margin it was built to protect.

02

Tariffs climb

Electricity is the largest lifetime cost of any refrigeration plant, and it is not under your control.

03

Compliance tightens

F-gas phase-down, EN378 inspections and CSRD reporting all land on the asset owner.

03 / Sectors

Where does C/HaaS fit?

Industrial processes where cooling or heating cannot stop, capital expenditure is heavy, and downtime is unaffordable. We carry the asset and the risk. Your team focuses on production.

Who would you be working with?

A Rotterdam-based team, backed by a group that has invested in industrial energy systems since 2009 and delivered cooling and heating as a service since 2015. Leon Laubscher leads the European business, with direct access to the group’s engineering division.

The questions we get asked most

Three answers up front. The full list, including contract term, service levels and what the monthly fee covers, is on the C/HaaS page.

Energy Partners, for the full duration of the contract. Breakdowns and repairs within the design envelope are at our cost. Cooling delivery to the site continues uninterrupted.
As operating expense, comparable to a utility bill. No asset capitalisation, no depreciation, and no lease treatment, with the structure tested against the IFRS 16 criteria.
Yes. A purchase option is included in every contract. The price formula is fixed at signature, so there is no negotiation required when the option is exercised.

Building new, or replacing an existing plant?

The model suits new builds and end-of-life replacements alike. Provide the thermal load, refrigerant type and uptime requirements, and we will respond with an indicative tariff within ten working days.
