About

A European team, with a 10+ year as‑a‑service track record.

Your project is designed, delivered and managed by a team in Rotterdam, working to the same engineering standards this group has applied to every plant since 2015. We bring the regulatory fluency and the balance sheet to match.

The group behind Energy Partners Europe

Energy Partners Europe is wholly owned by Energy Partners Holdings, which designs, funds, builds and operates industrial energy systems. PSG owns the majority of Holdings, and Nedbank and Investec fund the projects. That is the backing behind every contract we sign.

Built for EU regulation

Industrial refrigeration in Europe sits under a dense regulatory envelope. We carry that responsibility on your behalf, from refrigerant selection to site operator requirements.

REFRIGERATION SAFETY

EN378

For ammonia systems, EN378 sets machinery‑room classifications, ventilation, detection and documented risk assessments, with operator competence and access controls assessed against site‑specific charge size and occupancy. Energy Partners designs, trains and documents to the relevant standard for your site.

(EU) 2024/573

F‑gas Regulation

The revised F‑gas Regulation accelerates the phase‑down of high‑GWP synthetic refrigerants. Energy Partners designs only with natural refrigerants (ammonia, CO₂, hydrocarbons) so the plant is future‑proofed before it is switched on.

LEASE ACCOUNTING

IFRS 16

C/HaaS is a service contract, not a lease. We structure every agreement against IFRS 16 criteria so it sits in opex, with no right‑of‑use asset and no lease liability on your balance sheet.

INDUSTRIAL EMISSIONS

IED & BAT

Where your process falls under the Industrial Emissions Directive, we design to the relevant BAT‑AEL ranges and produce the documentation your permitting authority expects.

SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING

CSRD / ESRS

Your C/HaaS plant comes with audit‑grade electricity, refrigerant and CO₂e data streams, ready for Scope 1 and Scope 2 disclosures under ESRS E1.

EQUIPMENT DIRECTIVES

CE / PED

All pressure equipment is CE‑marked and conforms to the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU. Commissioning files are delivered complete on handover.

SET Alliance, The Global Servitisation for Energy Transition Alliance

Setting the standard for as‑a‑service

The Servitisation for Energy Transition Alliance is a Swiss‑based initiative working to bring as‑a‑service models into the mainstream for clean energy. Energy Partners is a founding member.

Membership is a technical commitment. The alliance sets common standards for measuring, verifying and financially structuring as‑a‑service contracts. We apply them in every agreement we write.
